Swissmar Rectangular Slate Board 15.75×10″

Each Swissmar Slate Board is hand-crafted and unique. The natural, unfinished edges reveal the true beauty of slate; a fine-grained rock derived from an original shale-type sedimentary rock comprised of clay or volcanic ash. Since slate is a natural material, each piece will have its own characteristics of colour, marks and lines. Use slate as a beautifully unique cheese platter or as a menu board by writing on it with chalk.

• Non-porous with a smooth surface and hand-crafted edges
• Made of natural slate – formed 400 million years ago, a fine-grained rock derived from an original shale-type sedimentary rock comprised of clay or volcanic ash
• Since slate is a natural material, each piece will have its own characteristics of color, marks, and lines
• Can be cleaned with olive oil, which will darken it, or with a cloth and warm water – dry thoroughly.
• Not dishwasher safe!
• Do not use abrasive cleansers, vinegar or lemon-based cleansers
